Secondary students in MY1 are in the process of designing an educational toy whose target audience or future users will be our early years learners. In order to effectively determine the features their toys will have, they spent some time in the early years in order to observe their future toys’ users and learn about their interests, what holds their attention, and what engages them most.
Upon observation, design students resumed their conversation and addressed the connections between materials and age, age and skills needed to manipulate objects and play with toys, key features in age-appropriate toys, and intellectual property.
Our young designers will be presenting their finally outcomes in a design fair that will take place in March. Stay tuned to experience this moment with us.
