Position Overview
Bogaerts International School is looking for a French Teacher to cover for a maternity leave from November 2026 until April 2027, with the possibility of extension.
This is a full-time position (20 teaching hours per week), teaching students from ages 10 to 18 across the PYP, MYP and DP programmes.

Main responsibilities
‍- Teach French Literature and French Language Acquisition.
- Follow existing unit plans and IB teaching approaches.
- Adapt teaching to different ages, levels and learning needs.
- Assess students according to IB criteria and provide regular feedback.
- Use ManageBac, G Suite and other school digital tools.
- Communicate with students, parents and programme coordinators when needed.
- Participate in supervision duties (Study Hall, lunch and break duties).
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and respectful school environment.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
- Support student wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Engage in wider school life, including trips and events.

‍Candidate Profile
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in French Literature, Romance Languages, Education or a related field
- Native French.
- Strong teaching experience in secondary French.
- Good working knowledge of English.
- Ability to teach and connect with students from ages 10 to 18
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, organised and able to adapt to different programmes and age groups.
‍Desirable
- Experience teaching IB French.
- Previous experience in an IB school (PYP, MYP and/or DP).
- Master’s degree in relevant field.

Overview
‍We are seeking enthusiastic DP Subject Teachers to join our IB Diploma Programme. This role may be part-time or full-time, depending on subject needs.
‍
‍Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB philosophy.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments
- Track and report student progress using school platforms.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning.
- Support IB core components (EE, TOK, CAS where relevant)
- Participate in school life, events, and professional development.

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or education.
- Fluent English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- IB or international school experience
- At least two years of teaching experience

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidate must:

- A university teaching degree or significant teaching experience (depending on the position)
- Educational organization skills (in lesson planning, collaborative planning, resource preparation, etc.)
- General computer and technology skills (preferred but not required);Experience with IB pedagogy (preferred but not required).
