I have been an educator for over thirty years, in Europe and the Middle East and have always seen teaching as a calling in my life. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to contribute to diverse and engaging educational communities, but I was privileged in 2021 to join Bogaerts International School, where students flourish with the support of teachers who genuinely care.

Being passionate about educational leadership, I view my role as the Head of School, as an opportunity to promote academic excellence through coaching and development, while fostering a trusting and respectful school community. I am enthused and inspired by our learners and continue to grow with them, as a professional. Being a parent at school myself, I value parent engagement and welcome feedback.

If I could distil our School’s mission and vision into three key elements, these would be: community values - personal agency – growth mindset. I would like to think of our school as a model nucleus of the global community our children deserve to inherit.

Eva de la Casa

DP Coordinator & DP Spanish Teacher

Eva has been working as an IB teacher for over 7 years and teaching Spanish for over 20 years. She is also the DP Student Progress Leader and Pastoral Care Coordinator. At BIS, we encourage our DP students to achieve their goals and realize their maximum potential. Eva works with students to promote positive attitudes and self-discipline, and she advocates for students facing challenges throughout their last two years of high school and the IB program.

Vasilis Iosifidis

PYP Coordinator & Head Of Primary School

Vasilis joined BIS in 2019 and is the Head of Primary and the PYP Coordinator. An IBEN member and IB Educational Consultant, Mr. Iosifidis gathered rich international teaching experience in Africa and Asia and is passionate about working with teachers, students, and families to make learning happen, focusing on concept-based learning and teaching.
