At BIS, we like celebrating life and our community is regularly organising events along the year, as well as collaborating with local organisations and NGOs.

The students at BIS are passionate about contributing to a cleaner, greener Brussels, and this enthusiasm drives our active Eco-Schools program. The initiative has received tremendous support from students, staff, and parents, fostering a strong sense of community commitment to sustainability.
Our school is proud to have a dedicated Eco School Committee, led primarily by students, who take an active role in shaping the program’s direction. The Eco-Schools initiative integrates environmental sustainability into the core of our school’s activities and curriculum, aiming to make our campus more eco-friendly and embedding green practices in our daily routines.
In November 2023, our school was awarded with the Green Flag.
This Green Flag Award celebrates our dedication to promoting environmental awareness and action while also inspiring us to continue building a sustainable future.

The BIS Parents School Association (PSA) is an extension of BIS that aims to support and implement BIS Mission and Core Values to the greater Community.
We believe in a learning Community that involves the entire family where we feel home away from home.
The FEN automatically includes teachers, staff and parents/guardians of all students currently enrolled at BIS. It is committed to organizing activities and events, establishing a constructive dialogue and feedback with the school, and creating a warm and caring community.

If you want to stay in the loop of what we are up to, or have ideas, comments, suggestions to share, you can join our PTA Committee WhatsApp group and our zoom meeting (hopefully soon to become again a coffee morning!) which are happening once to twice a month (the zoom meetinglinks are shared with our Community through Managebac messages).
You can also reach out by sending an email to pta@bischool.com

Whether you have a little or a lot of time to spare, you can always choose to help out and contribute with your skills, talents and time – every parent is welcome to join the PSA initiatives and events at any time in the year and in any way!
