The BIS Family Engagement Network (FEN) is an extension of BIS that aims to support and implement BIS Mission and Core Values to the greater Community.
We are a learning Community that involves the entire family where we feel home away from home.
We believe that students, families, and staff achieve their best when we work hand in hand.
This year, FEN is here to help strengthen those connections and build a vibrant, supportive school community.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
☕ Monthly Coffee Mornings with practical and inspiring topics for parents
🌍 Cultural & Community Events that celebrate our diversity and traditions
🙌 Opportunities to Volunteer and contribute your talents to school life
🤝 A Welcoming Network offering support for both new and returning families
Why?
The Family Engagement Network (FEN), is an extension of BIS that supports and brings to life the BIS Mission and Core Values within our wider community. We believe in a learning community where the entire family is involved—a place where everyone feels at home, away from home.
To achieve this, FEN aims to:
🗣 Facilitate communication between parents and the school
🤝 Promote integration and support among families
🎉 Organise events and collaborative activities that bring the community together
💡 Encourage sharing of resources and experiences to strengthen connections
How ?
☕ Attend Coffee Mornings and school events to connect with other families
🙌 Volunteer to support or even lead an activity
🌍 Share your culture, language, or expertise with the community
👥 Join a parent committee or become a class representative
When ?
If you want to stay in the loop of what we are up to, or have ideas, comments, suggestions to share, you can join our FEN Committee WhatsApp groups and our Coffee Mornings, which are happening once a month.

Check groups regularly Participate when you can Share questions or ideas clearly and politely
Use the right groups for doubts or volunteering
