ARTS

At Bogaerts International School North Campus, we place the creative potential of every student at the heart of our learning philosophy. We believe the arts are a powerful means of expression, inquiry, advocacy, and connection. Whether through music or visual arts, our programmes are designed to cultivate students' voices, nurture their sense of identity, and celebrate the diversity of our international community.

We have moved beyond traditional models of arts education. Instead of isolated, prescriptive instruction, we embrace a dynamic atelier-based approach—spaces of exploration where students inquire, create, collaborate, and reflect. The arts are not treated as standalone subjects, but as integral threads in the fabric of our concept-based, inquiry-driven curriculum. In these studios, every child is an artist in the making, invited to explore, take risks, and imagine new possibilities.

Music

From simple rhythms in the early years to complex instrumentation in Middle School, our students experience music through active, hands-on learning. They build confidence and coordination while learning to listen, respond, and collaborate—skills that extend far beyond the music room.

Visual Arts

In the visual arts, our students are guided to explore deeply, create meaningfully, and express powerfully. We have moved away from rigid curriculums in favour of an emergent, student-centered approach, where inquiry drives discovery. Whether working individually or collaboratively, students engage with a wide range of techniques, media, and artistic styles—all while developing a sense of ownership over their creative journey.
