Empowering students through the IB Diploma

Our curriculum framework, drawing from the profound ideas of Paulo Freire and Maxine Greene, seeks to produce not just learners but active participants in the world.
By focusing on people, planet, challenges, prosperity, leadership, and advocacy, we aim to foster a generation of reflective individuals who are equipped to think critically, act ethically, and contribute meaningfully to society.
IB Diploma Programme Structure
Students must study one subject from each of the five subject groups, as well as an arts subject from group 6, or alternatively a second subject chosen from groups 1 to 5.
All students in the Diploma Programme must choose three courses at Higher Level and three courses at Standard Level

My name is Christina Anghelina and I am honoured to serve as the DP Coordinator and English Language and Literature teacher within our community. My teaching journey began in 1997, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in various countries, including Romania, India, and Turkey, as an English and Spanish teacher, IB Examiner, MYP Coordinator, and Grade Level Leader. These experiences have enriched my skills as a teacher, leader, and individual, thanks to incredible mentors and diverse cultural encounters.
I have a passion for reading, storytelling, and transforming dreams into reality. My focus as an educator is on people—students, parents, faculty, and stakeholders. I maintain high expectations for my students while providing the necessary support for them to reach their fullest potential.
As a leader, I promote initiative, passion, respect, accountability and reflection within my team, always prioritising the best interests of our students. My communication with parents and guardians is rooted in respect, trust, and a shared commitment to the well-being of their children.
I believe in fostering growth through connection and collaboration and I look forward to our continued success!
