Founded in 2020 by our MUN Program Director Chris Yoder, BIS has a proud tradition of diplomatic training and conference attendance.Beginning with 6 students in 2020, the BIS MUN Program has come a long way. Welcome to the Bogaerts International School Model United Nations (MUN) Club, where students engage in global diplomacy, enhance their leadership skills, and make their voices heard on the world stage. Our MUN Club is a thriving hub of intellectual curiosity and passionate debate, offering students the opportunity to step into the roles of international delegates and tackle real-world issues.

Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations, where students represent countries and organizations to discuss and solve pressing global challenges.
Participants collaborate, debate, and draft resolutions, honing their public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills in the process.
Global Perspective: Gain insights into international relations, geopolitics, and global challenges.
Skill Development: Improve public speaking, research, and teamwork abilities.
Leadership Opportunities: Take on roles such as Chair, Delegate, or Organizer to develop confidence and leadership qualities.

The Bogaerts MUN Club is open to all students from MYP5 to DP2, regardless of experience level.
